NCTzen turns a concept into citizenship. NCT is organised around rotating, city-named sub-units, so its fans became citizens rather than followers. The fandom is fragmented by design — most people follow one unit closely and the others loosely — which makes it hard to count from the outside and difficult to beat once it moves as a single bloc.
